Knitted wire meshes
Marketed like a flattened continuous sleeves allowing for making bodies of quite different geometry and density Knitted wire meshes are marketed like a flattened continuous sleeve whose structure is based on a series of beautiful and decorative linking arches interwoven by the folds of the wire. These meshes, thanks to their great ductility, allow for making bodies of quite different geometry and density that grant them noticeable physical and technical qualities making them suitable to meet a wide range of industrial applications.

Woven wire meshes for industrial uses
D: Wire diameter in mm.
W: Mesh opening. Distance in mm. between two adjacent wires.
Besides the material of the wire used and type of cloth, some other features stated on the table:
S%: Working surface. Approximate percentage of the total surface of the openings of a mesh.
Kg/m2: Approximate weight in kg of a m2 of an iron/steel woven wire cloth. (See conversion factor table for other materials).
Precorrugated woven wire cloth
Features
They are made of previously corrugated wires or rods and mounted alternately to make a plain cloth. Their manufacturing wire diameter ranges between 1.50 mm and 5 mm, with square meshes within a wide range of possibilities.
The cloth can have more or less stability, consistency and smooth surface according to the number of wire corrugations, their depth and distance between them; these are factors to be borne in mind according to use needs.
